You wonder if the snowing will ever cease. Of course, that is highly improbable, because you reside in the mountains. It’s been like this since mid-November, and you are getting quite sick of it. A blanket of snow covers the land as far as the eye can see. Somewhere, an omnipotent deity cackles at your everlasting misery. The precipitation refuses to desist, dense clouds concealing the sun. It is such a despairing sight that you wonder for a moment if you will ever see the light of day ever again.
