Welcome to the Mexicolore Kids Dear visitor, The Mexicolore team invites you to have fun while learning much more about the Aztecs in Years 4-6 (UK), with the help of our very own animated Aztec character Tec. In this micro-site, through fun slider puzzles, wicked challenges and pages packed with carefully researched pictures of real Aztec artefacts, Tec will give you a real insight into:- – obsidian knives (as symbols and in actual use) – human sacrifice (and the evidence of it) – two great gods, Tezcatlipoca and Tlaloc – the ‘Calendar Stone’ (Stone of the Suns) – day signs and year-bearer signs in the calendars – pictograms from key codices, including Mendoza, Borgla, Laud, Fejervary-Mayer, Magliabecchiano, Borbonicus and Boturini – the mexican festival of the day of the dead Enjoy…!
