The McDonald’s Videogame was released in Italian at the end of 2005 and in (broken) English shortly after. It’s one of the most popular games by Molleindustria, racking up millions of plays between the faux-official site and the multitude of flash portals that were exploding in the mid ’00s. The McDonald’s Videogame reflects the issues brought to attention by the alter-globalization movement of the time as well as its culture jamming/subvertising approach to communication.
The 2019 version comes with an improved English translation.
