The Marine Parade Community Building has been hailed as a landmark project. Far from being a typical community complex, it is home to the Marine Parade Community Club, the Marine Parade Community Library and the theatre group, the Necessary Stage.
Besides the library, this complex also houses a 263-seater theatrette, glass-walled gymnasium, covered basketball court on the rooftop, air-conditioned sports hall and a café, all packed in a three-storey building!
