Marching towards the new year

Katsu: «Walking towards the new year» is not enough… we shall march towards it! :dance: Since taikos are for festive events, I think they are quite suitable for celebrating the New Year? :giggle: As you can see…the Taikos have captured my heart again recently. Have been crazily playing «Taiko no Tatsujin DS» in the holidays. The game even allows you to dress up your Taiko in different costumes! :love: By the way, the game seems to be easier in the DS version than in the PS2 versions. I am able to play through quite a few songs in the Oni level. I can never do that in the PS2 versions… ^^; Perhaps it’s all about the different control systems. Tips: You can take off Katsu’s costumes, and also beat upon him. This one works differently from the taikos in «Play me» through: hit his face for the «Don» sound, and his body for the «Katsu» sound.
