Glo
Long before I sat down and learned Objective-C I began thinking about how to make games that would not have keyboard input available as a control scheme. Glo is a simple puzzle game that confronts this issue, using only mouse clicks (which on a mobile device would be taps) to play the game.
Although Glo is complete, I finished the game when the worth of flash games was dwindling, and I decided to keep the game unpublished in case I ever wanted to create a mobile version. After all, this was the original thinking behind the game.
Glo remains a fun game, even on the computer, and I encourage you to give it a try (see link below). In each level, the player must collect a series of lights, eventually becoming the only light source on the screen. Cooler colors and dynamic shadows which respond to player movement create a haunting feel, but I assure you there is nothing scary about Glo!
