Factory of Fear
It certainly doesn’t look like a house I would consider buying, but a girl went missing and as a police inspector it’s my duty to go and snoop around a little bit.
The story couldn’t be any cheesier: mad scientiests did some experiments in an abandoned house, neighbours used to hear strange noises and screams, and after a while a girl went missing in the near. It’s just a stupid prep for the usual walkthough of the horror house with ghosts and simple jumpscares, but it’s our durty as a horror fans to poke every horror game and see what comes out …
After you wipe away the cobwebs from this several years old title and get your hands on it, it will soon become clear that this is nothing more than a classic point and click game, one of those escape games where you navigate static screens with just few modest animations here and there, but everything is dark and made in horror-style. I mean, the blood bath, blood stains, and all the gory details are there. So just see if you can find a missing girl in all that mess.
It’s a no surprise that a super non-comercial old indie game like this would have zero to few you tube reviws and walkthoughs, so the video you see down below is one of the rare attempts which discloses the gameplay and show you what’s going on in the game.
Beside the usual wandering in the dark, collecting hidden objects, the game reveals some interesting points which you can read from the scientist notebook. For example, How can one test a formula that gives life to the dead without having the dead in the first place. So, in order to do so, you must fist create Death!!! Woaah 🙂 that’s a pretty strong argument to kill someone, isn’t it?
In the end, if you don’t find the girl, or if you actually don’t understand what the hell had happened, don’t blame me – blame Bat Studios who made the game 🙂
Good old tab key!
And I almost forgot! If you don’t know where to click next – hit ‘tab’ key, it works.
