In case if you haven’t realized, the Fuwas’ names (Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, and Nini) form the sentence 芦Beijing welcomes you禄. I have changed their designs a bit to fit my own imagination, though.
Finally the Summer Olympics have begun! :excited:
Since this time it’s my home country to host the Olympics, the media have been many reports on the event recently. We watched about how the city of Beijing has changed for hosting the game, and have been encouraged to participate by watching the event on TV. Sometimes my homework are also related to the event…

Hong Kong is also hosting it too… just for the Equestrian events though. I’m not that interested.
Honestly I don’t think the weather recently (in both Beijing and Hong Kong) is suitable for hosting the Olympics… but you know, the weather is not controllable. ^^;
Even when I am not that interested in sports, I still feel delighted to see their improved designs for the Olympic events! China’s designs are usually very horrible as far as I knew… Erm, have you seen the Lan Mao? :noes:
They have done a great job on designing the stadium this time, though! The Bird Nest and Water Bubble Square are pretty interesting… and I am really glad that they didn’t make the Olympic mascots also look like that scary.
(However, the cartoon series doesn’t look that good…)
There are really too many of them, though! ^^; It costs a lot to bring them home. I only have a mini plushie set got from my mum’s friend…
