Highschool of the Apes

It was the Fall of 2000. I had joined Newgrounds to lend my graphic design skills to the website: I created the new tank logo, most of the fist level icons, and the older bitmap style icons that are sprinkled around the site. Tom Fulp and I thought that a parody of «Planet of the Apes» was needed, especially because we heard Tim Burton was doing a re-make of the film. So, «HighSchool of the Apes» was born! I didn’t have much experience with Flash, so once I had finished the art stuff I tried to soak in all Tom’s Flash knowledge. The result was this choose-your-own-adventure game that I hope you enjoy! NOTE FROM TOM: This was previously showcased as a non-Portal submission, hence the more recent submission date.
