Originally I wanted to make audio visualizer with usage of one new Flash CS4 feature. Now FileReference allows to upload files from local system directly to browser Flash application…
But it turned out that Adobe missed yet another little thing 馃檨 Sound class that is used in Flash for sending audio data to Audio Card is not able to load stuff from file(ByteArray) It’s not as if we can not make him do so trough some hacks like this guy did http://www.flexiblefactory.co.uk/flexible/?p=46 but it would make far too much code as to do so as you will need manually decode mp3 files and then use one of two tricks to make Sound object play it 馃檨 Too much code for 25lines…
So ended up doing just interactive fire mess 馃檪
Not shore I will get to finalists this time but what ever 馃檪 Interesting what other stuff will be there this time 馃檪
