Rotate Around Absolute Center
ActionScript, sadly, does not allow you to alter the registration point (center point) of a movieclip. Normally, the way around this is to place said movieclip into another movieclip. This example shows how you can take a movieclip without placing it in another movieclip and still allow it to rotate around an absolute center point using the getBounds method.
